Why An Ultrasound Law ?

Why do We need an Ultrasound law in Georgia? Because it will save lives. The rational is compelling. The best example we have comes from crisis pregnancy centers equipped with ultrasound machines. Some report changed mind ratios as high as 9 of 10! In other words for every 10 abortion minded women coming in for counseling, 9 changed their mind, after seeing their baby on ultrasound. Granted the ratios probably wont be as high in abortion clinics. The motivation of those operating abortion clinics is totally different from those working in crisis pregnancy centers. But still we believe a strong ultrasound law is absolutely crucial!

How many women will change their minds if we get this new law? We don't know for sure but we do know there were approximately 38,000 abortions reported in Georgia last year. So if 5 of 10 women change their minds that's 19,000 saved lives! If the ratio is 1 of 10 then that's 3,800 saved lives.

What We Stand For

We Believe that abortion is a national sin and we fear that God will judge our nation as a result.

We want to change Georgia law. Our goal is to get an ultrasound bill passed into law during the short 2007 legislative session!

At the local level we want to save as many lives as possible and we want people to know about the abortions that are taking place in Cobb County Georgia.
